Procedente de una pequeña aldea Gambiana llamada Tabanding localizada en Wuli East, River Stone Sound se ha hecho un nombre a lo largo de los años en la escena reggae y dancehall internacional, actuando en clubes, festivales y eventos privados por toda Europa.
Actualmente con sede en la ciudad de Murcia, España, River Stone Sound fue establecido por primera vez por Jereh, el difunto tio de Ghettonalist cuya pura pasión por la música creó Riverstone Sound ya a finales de los 90. Jereh decidió construir un sistema de sonido con varias baterías y dos pequeños altavoces que en ese momento eran suficientes para brindar alegría y pura amabilidad a través de la música, consiguiendo fechas para actuar en Tabanding y en los pueblos de los alrededores. El joven Ghettonalist en ese momento siguió los pasos de su tío, acompañándolo a todos sus conciertos y ayudándolo a configurar el sistema de sonido y a entretener a la audiencia con su estilo único de DJ.
Ghettonalist emigra a España a principios del año 2000, donde decide darle continuidad al legado musical que su tío construyó, por lo que hace renacer a River Stone Sound.. Poco después de revitalizar el sound en España, Ghettonalist se vinculó con el muy venerado DJ / Productor Dj Tano, quien dentro de la industria de la música y el entretenimiento en España posee un puesto importante.
